RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Instructing/Teaching group Yoga classes amongst participants with varied levels of experience.
- Offering Asana variations and prop use for students individual mobility.
- Reliability and timeliness for start and end of classes.
- Welcoming and helping to sign in new students to the studio.
- Digital knowledge: use of Classfit app.
- Completing AM or PM studio checklist.
- Maintaining professional tone and content while speaking to students.
-Staying within your scope of practice.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong knowledge of various Yoga Asana styles, techniques, and poses
- Practice based in traditional Yoga teachings: Eight Limbs of Yoga
- Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Dedication to your own personal Yoga practice including Asana, Pranayama, Mantra, Ahimsa, and just a general enthusiast view of your practice
- RYT 200 Certification, additional certification a plus. Currently seeking Teachers for: All Classes on schedule. Wide range from Multi-level Yoga, basics, Yin, Restorative, Yoga Nidra, Swing Yoga, Sculpt, and other styles as well.
- Filling continued education requirements as needed, life-long Yoga student mindset.
- Yoga Teaching Experience. (If you do not have teaching experience but have your RYT 200 Certification, Yoga Mentorship is available for purchase through the OV Yoga mentorship program. This is not a guarantee of hire).
- Ability to sub for some non-regular classes on a per-class basis.

Duties:
- Conducting yoga classes for individuals or groups, incorporating various styles and techniques
- Providing guidance and support to participants, ensuring correct form and alignment
- Creating a safe and welcoming environment for all participants
- Developing and modifying yoga sequences to meet the needs and abilities of participants
- Demonstrating proper breathing techniques and relaxation exercises
- Educating participants on the benefits of yoga and promoting a healthy lifestyle
- Assisting participants with modifications or adjustments as needed
- Monitoring participant progress and providing feedback and encouragement

- Certification as a Yoga Instructor from a recognized organization
- Strong knowledge of various yoga styles, techniques, and poses
- Experience in teaching yoga classes to individuals or groups
- Knowledge of body mechanics and the ability to demonstrate proper form and alignment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire participants to achieve their fitness goals
- Knowledge of other fitness disciplines such as cycle, Pilates, personal training, sports coaching, dance, or CrossFit is a plus
- Passion for health, wellness, and helping others improve their physical and mental well-being

Pay: $16.00 - $35.00 per hour
