Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Channel Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with our channel partners to drive sales growth and enhance customer satisfaction. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in customer service and sales, who can effectively communicate our value proposition to partners and customers alike, as well as experience tracking sales data and performance to identify areas for improvement and adjust their strategies as necessary. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement channel strategies to maximize sales opportunities, partner engagement and increase market share within the US.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners while identifying new partnership opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to align channel initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Provide ongoing support and training to partners to ensure they are equipped to sell our products effectively.
- Analyze market trends and partner performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Monitor competitor activities within the channel and provide insights for strategic adjustments.
- Liaise with marketing and product development to ensure alignment between sales objectives and overall company goals.
- Prepare regular reports on channel performance, including sales forecasts, partner feedback, and market analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical wiring devices and proven experience in outside sales, direct sales, or inside sales within a channel management or partner relations context.
- Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and team members.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform decision-making processes.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on achieving results.
- Self-motivated and can work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with CRM software. Oracle NetSuite experience a plus
