Overview

Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen before and after service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Contribute to menu development by suggesting new dishes or improvements to existing ones.
- Provide leadership and support to junior kitchen staff as necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a chef in the restaurant industry.
- Strong knowledge of food management practices, including food preparation and production techniques.
- Experience in fine dining or catering environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new techniques.
- Familiarity with bartending is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
