We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Director to lead our educational programs and ensure a nurturing environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education administration, higher education teaching, and experience working with students. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and implementing curriculum that fosters child development.
Duties
- Develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of children and align with state regulations.
- Supervise and mentor teaching staff to promote professional growth and ensure high-quality instruction.
- Manage daily operations of the child care facility, including scheduling, budgeting, and compliance with licensing requirements.
- Foster positive relationships with parents, staff, and the community to support children's learning and development.
- Conduct regular assessments of programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes for children.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all children in care.
Qualifications
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred; higher education teaching experience is a plus.
- Proven experience in education administration or management within a child care setting.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- Previous university experience is an advantage; teaching experience is highly desirable.
