Community Horizons is helping out a really great family in Appleton to find a babysitter for their children with special needs. They need about 4-8 hours of care each week on an as-needed basis.
What you will do:
- Hang out with a super sweet kiddo one-on-one
- Play and have fun
- Help with toileting
- Offer emotional support when needed
- Provide line of sight supervision
Pay: $14.39/hour.
Hours: As needed, flexible, 4-8 hours weekly.
Must haves:
- A friendly, outgoing personality
- Be mature
- Be comfortable playing on the floor with a little kid
- Reliable transportation to and from their home
- Be dependable and on time
- Experience with kids (paid or just taking care of your siblings counts!)
- Be at least 17
- Pass a background check in Wisconsin
Who is Community Horizons?
Community Horizons provides support to individuals and families enrolled in self-directed care programs across Wisconsin, including services through Managed Care Organizations, IRIS (Include, Respect, I Self-Direct), and the Children’s Long-Term Support (CLTS) program.
Self-direction allows participants to make their own choices—selecting who provides their care and how those services are delivered.
While Community Horizons offers guidance and mentorship, we are not the employer of record. Participants and families make all hiring decisions, with a third-party fiscal agent handling payroll and employment paperwork.
