We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated childcare provider to create a safe, clean and nurturing environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childhood development and a strong commitment to fostering learning and growth in young children. This role involves engaging with children in various activities, ensuring their safety, and supporting their educational needs.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide care for children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities.
- Assist with daily routines such as meal preparation, nap times, and personal hygiene.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Foster a positive relationship with each child, encouraging social interaction and emotional growth.
- Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education, first aid, and caregiving.
Qualifications
- Experience in retail, lifeguarding or childcare settings (such as daycare or preschool) is preferred.
- A nurturing demeanor with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that educate while entertaining young learners.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.

Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
