We are seeking a dedicated, warm and friendly Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent guest relations skills and a passion for providing exceptional service. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to assist guests in their selections.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and math calculations.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food handling safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for the next guests.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance their dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a table service restaurant setting is mandatory.
- Strong guest relations skills with an emphasis on hospitality.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately, including cash register operations.
- Basic math skills for processing payments and managing tabs effectively.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- A friendly attitude with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
