The Community Library Network at Hayden is hiring a 40-hour per week Circulation Specialist position. This position will receive PERSI retirement benefits, health and dental insurance, paid holidays, and vacation and sick leave benefits. Hayden Library is open Monday – Saturday and work hours may include evening and weekend hours.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing library circulation activities including checking books in and out and shelving
- Assisting patrons with the use of library resources and technologies
- Providing technical, computer, and information systems support
- Adhering to library policies, procedures, and directives
This job requires strong customer service, communication, and computer skills. The successful applicant:
- Understands the principles and practices of providing professional library customer service
- Enjoys interacting with a wide variety of people
- Is comfortable with technology
- Demonstrates a willingness to learn
