This educationsales position earns an minimum total wage of $18-$21 per hour for the first 90 days. After the first 90 days, class instructors associates earn $18 - $30 per hour between their hourly rate + sales commissions. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CLASS INSTRUCTOR
As a Class Instructor, your are the educationinspiration hub of the store location. With your positive attitude and enthusiasm, you teach sewing, quilting,embroidery classes to our customers so they can get the most out of their sewing products. You assist fellow team members with their sewing education. Whatever our customers need, you are always happy to help. You use your problem-solving skills to help them with projects and inspire them to grow in their sewing, quilting, embroidery,crafting passion. You love interacting with people every day and seeing your hard work reflected in your paycheck!
Ideal candidates will have a verifiable track record presenting new concepts and ideas to others and
customer service performance. Knowledge and enthusiasm around sewing, quilting,
embroidery,crafting is required.
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service and instruction day inday out.
Consistently educate customers on all aspects of sewingcrafting.
Assist in the development of class content and offerings.
Maintain Store Classroom area to create an inviting and encouraging
environment.
Coordinate and manage a robust store class schedule.
Qualifications:
1 year of providing instruction or teaching experience.
1 year of customer service and/or retail experience.
Demonstrate the ability to work in and contribute to a positive team environment.
Must be a self-starter and proactive on learning new machines and products.
We offer our Class Instructors an hourly wage plus commission on items sold in class.
Base hourly rate for Class Instructors starts at $18-$21 per hour depending on experience.
Job Type: Full-Time or Part Time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour plus commission of items sold during class
