Overview
We are a very busy law firm seeking a full-time, highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The administrator would be responsible for all aspects of a personal injury claim, primarily, motor vehicle accidents. Applicant must have experience and knowledge of PIP, BI, Med-Pay and Medicare reimbursement statutes. Job requires heavy client contract, and individual must be professional and have strong communication skills. the applicant must maintain and effectively process a personal injury case from start to finish while also providing support to staff and attorneys.
Duties
- Handle client screenings/intakes.
- Answer phones and provide exceptional customer service for heavy client contact.
- communicate with insurance companies/providers/lien holders/etc..
- Medical records and bills requests
- Process property damage and wage reimbursement, etc.
- Medical bill processing.
- Utilize computer literacy to manage office software applications effectively.
- Communicate effectively with and clients in both English and Spanish (if applicable).
Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred.
- Familiarity with calendar management and scheduling software.
- Strong customer service background with the ability to handle inquiries professionally.
- Experience as a medical receptionist is a plus but not required.
- Proficiency in office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
