Client Billing CoordinatorOpportunity
Trustpoint.one is assisting a leading international law firm is seeking a Client Billing Coordinator to join its team. This exempt, firmwide position reports to the Client Billing Manager and is 100% remote, with the requirement to periodically travel to the firm’s Austin office as needed. The Client Billing Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely billing by performing general billing duties and supervising client billing staff across multiple offices.

- Base Salary: $85,000 – $93,000 (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities
- Process client billing invoices using Aderant and other billing software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established guidelines.
- Review and edit prebills; generate final invoices for submission to clients.
- Address billing-related questions and resolve issues for attorneys, clients, and staff, including e-billing uploads and compliance.
- Partner with attorneys on special billing needs (invoice formatting, discounts, line entry adjustments).
- Collaborate with the Rates Control team for setup and maintenance of client matter rates and exceptions.
- Manage e-billing systems, task/activity codes, client record maintenance, and invoice transmissions.
- Provide billing-related reporting and support to attorneys, secretaries, and staff.
- Supervise, coach, and evaluate billing staff across assigned offices; approve timecards, monitor workflow, and conduct performance reviews.
- Assist with payment applications, trust transactions, and accounts receivable inquiries.
- Support attorneys with client billing history analyses, reporting, and unbilled time estimates.
- Other tasks as assigned by the Client Billing Manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in accounting or business preferred.
- 2–3 years of billing experience in a legal or accounting environment required; Aderant experience strongly preferred.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook required.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information and exercise sound judgment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-service orientation.
- Self-starter with the ability to supervise remote staff effectively.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment with strict deadlines.
Working Conditions
- 100% remote, with occasional travel to the Austin office as required.
- Standard working hours are 10:30am–7:00pm CST, Monday through Friday, with flexibility for overtime as needed.
- Heavy data entry required; must be able to sit for extended periods.
- Fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and tight deadlines.
