The Role

The Client Delegation Trainer at Athena transforms how executives lead by teaching them the art and science of delegation, in turn helping them maximize their most valuable resource: time. In this contributor role, you'll deliver tailored training programs that translate Athena's proprietary delegation methodology into tactical client solutions and measurable partnership outcomes. Working with leaders across various industries and partnership stages, you'll help clients optimize their Executive Assistant relationships, elevate their productivity systems, and achieve unprecedented leverage in both their personal and professional lives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead transformative 1:1 and group enablement sessions that help clients adopt delegation tools and workflows - adapting delivery style to each audience’s role, maturity, and change-readiness.

  • Co-create and iterate on practical delegation frameworks, curriculum, and training collateral, that transform complex concepts into step-by-step rollout plans that clients can implement immediately.

  • Test and refine training approaches, channels and content to maximize client engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

  • Help define and track success metrics to measure delegation growth, celebrating client progress against established baselines.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align training priorities with company-wide goals,and feed client insights back into product and process design.

  • Evaluate clients' existing tools and workflows - recommend and help implement targeted improvements that accelerate delegation and collaboration.

  • Drive internal process building - document playbooks, stand up new enablement tools and coach peers - bringing a “builder’s” mindset to a growing team.

  • Stay current on emerging productivity tools & trends, change-management practices, adult-learning research so our training programs remain innovative and effective.

Core Requirements & Qualifications

  • Track record of building and refining processes, playbooks and tooling from scratch - startup, entrepreneurial, or operational experience strongly preferred

  • 4+ years in client-facing training, enablement or implementation roles with a focus on changing core behaviors and/or habits

  • Proven ability to facilitate inclusive, high-energy training sessions that move learners from concept to confident execution in a fast-paced, remote-first environment

  • Expert at translating theoretical frameworks into actionable strategies, real-world examples, and step by step guidance tailored to the needs and context of each audience

  • Strong executive presence and communication skills with the ability to establish credibility and rapport with an established clientele (founders, leaders, investors, etc.)

  • Empathetic, systems-minded problem-solver who balances analytical thinking with genuine human connection

  • Self-directed “builder-trainer” who thrives on ambiguity, prioritizes autonomously, and delivers reliable follow-through

  • Adaptable and responsive - able to pivot quickly as client needs and priorities shift while keeping sight of strategic objectives

  • Proficient with modern productivity and collaboration tools (Notion, ClickUp, Trello, Asana, etc.)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field such as, Psychology, Business; certifications in coaching, training or change management are a plus
