Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our client base through effective sales strategies and relationship management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technology sales, with exceptional leadership and communication skills to foster long-term partnerships.
Duties
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives.
- Conduct warm calling to identify potential clients and generate new business opportunities.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with prospective clients.
- Manage existing accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Utilize Salesforce for tracking sales activities, managing leads, and reporting on performance metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development efforts with overall company goals.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior sales staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the technology sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market conditions and client needs.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients at all levels.
- Demonstrated success in account management and building lasting client relationships.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM tools is highly desirable.
- Ability to negotiate effectively and close sales deals confidently.
