Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a desire to help heal in our community. You will be licensed in mental health counseling and a dwmonstrate commitment to providing high-quality therapeutic services to individuals and families. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to support mental wellness. We will help match you to the clientele that best match your skills.
Duties
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients, focusing on their unique needs and goals.
- Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans based on client evaluations.
- Use Therapy Notes for treatment plans, counseling notes.
- Insurance and copay collection is done for you. We do all of the billing. You only do what you love: therapy.
- Engage in child family counseling to address relational dynamics and improve family functioning.
- Implement applied behavior analysis techniques as appropriate for client treatment.
- Maintain accurate data collection and documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
- Offer telehealth services to ensure accessibility of care for clients unable to attend in-person sessions (optional)
- Stay informed about medical terminology relevant to mental health practices and treatments.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance counseling skills.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- Valid licensure as a counselor or therapist in PA
- Experience in individual and group therapy settings is essential.
- Familiarity with child family counseling techniques is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology principles is a plus.
- Strong understanding of mental health issues across various age groups, including geriatrics.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proficient in data collection methods and maintaining confidentiality in client records.
