The Position
Management of the Human Pharma product portfolio in the markets BI Vietnam is responsible for Cambodia & Myanmar (distribution partner management, monthly performance calls, quarterly performance reviews, Outlook preparation, Annual Discussion preparation, preparation of registration proposals, preparation of business cases for new launches and business expansion); Laos (market evaluation; preparation of business case for market entry).
Tasks & Responsibilities
Management of the Human Pharma product portfolio (Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos), reporting to the Strategic Partnerships Lead:
- Act as the first point of contact and core communication channel between Boehringer Vietnam (HPLC) and our local distribution partner (business lead and supporting functions, including RA, PV, HR).
- Ensure timely renewal/adaptation of distribution contracts and annexes in collaboration with Boehringer VN's Legal & Compliance Lead.
- Set up a meeting landscape with Monthly Performance Calls and Quarterly Performance Meetings for each of the markets to drive the business steering process.
- Prepare the input (including 5-year LTF; launch plan; expenses) for the markets in scope (Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos) for the Outlook + 1 and pre-Annual Discussion to be included in the submission (PRISMA; presentation slides) of Boehringer Vietnam as per ROPU guidelines and timelines.
- Continue to develop the regulatory plan with investments and timelines for key new launches in collaboration with Boehringer VN's RA team. Accelerate launches where possible.
- Develop product plans for the existing SKUs, including investment and structure of sales & marketing budgets and top line growth, in collaboration with Boehringer VN's Marketing and GTM teams.
- Drive the roll-out and implementation of HCP capacity building/education programs in collaboration with BI VN's Medical team.
- Recommend sales force structure and key marketing capability requirements for a long-term plan in collaboration with BI VN's Promotion and Marketing teams.
- Develop a list of key customer accounts and potential new customers and geographies.
- Depending on the distribution model for each market (e.g. full service, 4PL & hosting, CSO, other): approve proposals for team benefits and remuneration (in collaboration with BI VN's HR team); implement a data base of customers according to company segmentation and targeting and install a CRM system such as Veeva or similar (in collaboration with BI VN's Commercial Operations team).
- Drive all quality and compliance-related processes (e.g. PV, technical product complaints, sampling) in collaboration with the respective BI Vietnam teams (e.g. LPVM, Quality Manager, Legal & Compliance Manager).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, Major in Business Administration and/or Pharmacy.
- More than 5 years of international work and leadership experience within a pharmaceutical business unit, at local and/or global/corporate level.
- Proven track record in people, project and cross-functional team leadership skills.
- Experience in general management (local business unit) and/or business functions (medico-marketing, sales, research and/or production) within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Competencies Critical for the Success of this Job: Strategic, global vision, Strong business acumen, Clear customer focus, Well-developed interpersonal and intercultural skills.
- Excellent program and project management leadership skills.
- Proficiency for English in professional level and fluent in Vietnamese are required.
