Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Receiving Associate to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our receiving department, ensuring that all incoming shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels.
- Load and unload products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks.
- Perform order picking, packing, and fulfillment tasks as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of received goods using RF scanners and MRP systems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of shipments.
- Assist in stocking shelves and organizing the warehouse for optimal efficiency.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and audits to maintain stock accuracy.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a focus on shipping & receiving operations.
- Familiarity with e-commerce processes and order fulfillment is a plus.
- Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400 is beneficial.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and order processing are required.
