Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Co-teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with lead teachers to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children. This role is essential in supporting the development of young learners, ensuring their educational needs are met while promoting their overall well-being. The Co-teacher will play a vital role in fostering a love for learning and helping students achieve their academic goals.
Duties
- Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that align with curriculum standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Provide individualized support to children, including those requiring early intervention strategies.
- Promote literacy education through various activities designed to enhance reading and writing skills.
- Engage with children in activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that adheres to child welfare regulations.
- Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and improve teaching strategies.
Skills
- Strong understanding of early childhood education
- Experience working with children in daycare or educational settings.
- Knowledge of child welfare policies and procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of students, parents, and colleagues.

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
