At Tomlin Prep Academy, we believe toddlers are bursting with curiosity, energy, and potential! We’re seeking a loving and energetic Toddler Teacher who understands the importance of learning through play and relationships with children ages 2–3 years old.
Position Summary:
Our Toddler Teacher will guide and care for a classroom of 2–3-year-olds, helping them grow socially, emotionally, and cognitively through age-appropriate play, routines, and structure.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a consistent, caring, and playful classroom environment
- Plan fun, hands-on learning activities
- Encourage positive behavior and independence
- Support potty training and self-help skills
- Communicate daily with parents and log progress
- Ensure safety and well-being at all times
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior experience with toddlers in a childcare setting preferred
- CDA or Early Childhood coursework a plus
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
- Must love working with active, curious 2- and 3-year-olds
