Position: Cocktail Server – Over Vine (Full-Time)

Job Overview
The Westin Cincinnati is seeking an energetic and guest-focused Cocktail Server to join our Over Vine bar team. In this role, you’ll create a warm, welcoming atmosphere, serve expertly prepared beverages, and ensure every guest enjoys a memorable cocktail and dining experience in our vibrant bar setting.
Essential Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service in line with HEI Hotels & Resorts standards.
- Accurately prepare, serve, and present drinks while adhering to all federal, state, and company alcohol service regulations.
- Set up and break down your service station before and after shifts to maintain cleanliness and readiness.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, following all cash-handling and bank procedures.
- Complete assigned side work and restocking tasks as directed by management.
- Maintain reliable attendance and a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
- Previous serving or cocktail experience required; hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong knowledge of state liquor laws and responsible beverage service practices.
- Proficiency with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to lift and carry trays up to 30 lbs. and navigate busy bar and dining areas (with or without reasonable accommodation).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt communication style when interacting with guests, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Professional, guest-oriented attitude with the ability to stay composed in a fast-paced environment.
