esponsible for multiple tasks involving the take down of used commercial doors and / or equipment, installation of new commercial doors, operators, equipment and multiple service categories on doors, operators and associated equipment.
O
ther duties may be assigned. E
valuate appropriate commercial door and installation/service requirements for each job.
P
rior to commencement of work, determine if appropriate tools and equipment are working and / or available.
E
stablish the needs of each job and document the full installation/service needed.
D
etermine if added work needs to be performed and the measures needed to assure approved installation of product.
A
lterations, construction modifications and obstructions must be noted before each job is to begin.
D
ocumentation of the work to be performed is discussed with the Salesperson and/or Scheduling Supervisor for approval.
P
erform related minor work in framing, build in's, and adjustments.
S
ervice and/or install Wayne Dalton Corp. commercial garage doors using appropriate tools, hardware and equipment.
S
ervice and/or install Wayne Dalton Corp. and other manufactured commercial garage door operators.
P
erform commercial service/installation on a wide range of products, including hinges, operators, door sections, rolling steel, torsion springs, dock equipment, locks, etc.

are and maintenance of equipment and tools provided by Wayne Dalton of Kennewick.
C
are and maintenance of vehicles provided by Wayne Dalton of Kennewick.
M
aintain appropriate parts inventory in the vehicle to ensure that items are available for service / installation work.
S
econdary Responsibilities R
epresent Wayne Dalton Corp. with customers and present themselves in a professional demeanor.
P
rovide explanation of the work to be performed and work finished.
D
escription of operating functions, safety systems, operator controls and proper customer maintenance are required.
P
rovide service that is expedient and well prepared understanding the various types of doors, operators and hardware to be serviced and / or installed.
U
pon completion of each service / installation call, clean work area and discard trash in appropriate containers or deliver such trash to designated drop site as designated by Wayne Dalton of Kennewick.
C
ontact Wayne Dalton on radio dispatch system regarding job progress, time of completion and additional work that needs to be performed.
P
rovide a billing document to the consumer and accept payment as determined by Wayne Dalton Corp.

he back up copies of such information and payment are to be retained in a safe place and delivered to Wayne Dalton of Kennewick.
