Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic Community Programs Coordinator to oversee program management and community organizing efforts. This role involves coordinating and enriching community programs while mobilizing neighbors and volunteers to actively participate in community initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, organizational abilities, and a passion for fostering community engagement and development.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of community programs and events.
- Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers to support program activities and community initiatives.
- Foster relationships with community members, stakeholders, and local organizations to enhance program effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain program budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure financial accountability.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align program goals with organizational objectives and community needs.
- Coordinate outreach efforts to promote programs, recruit participants, and expand community engagement.
- Evaluate program outcomes and impact through data collection, analysis, and participant feedback.
- Advocate for community needs and interests through effective communication and relationship building.
- Communicate program goals, updates, and successes to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and outreach efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development, or a related field.
- Proven experience in program management, community organizing, or related roles.
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and engage volunteers and community members.
- Excellent communication skills, including public speaking, writing, and interpersonal relations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of community resources, social services, and best practices in program development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

Additional Details:
- 21 - 24 hours per week, in office or community, with potential for additional hours based on performance
- $20 - $24 per hour, depending on education and experience
