Job Summary:
This is a door-to-door sales position with unlimited earning potential. You’ll be enrolling customers in a free state-supported program called Community Solar, which helps Xcel Energy customers save money on their electricity bills.
Duties
- Engage with community members to explain the benefits of community solar programs.
- Assist in the enrollment process for interested participants in community solar programs.
- Maintain accurate records of community engagement activities and participant data.
- Address inquiries and provide support to participants throughout their involvement in the program.
Skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information.
- Ability to engage with diverse communities and build rapport with various stakeholders.
- Knowledge of renewable energy concepts, particularly solar energy, is preferred but not required.
- Problem-solving abilities to address participant inquiries and concerns effectively.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for communication, record-keeping, and outreach efforts.
- A passion for sustainability and a commitment to promoting clean energy solutions.
