General Functions: Supervise Community Support Services Associates, as assigned. Ensure the implementation of each clients program plan as designated by Program Manager(s). Plan, direct, and oversee instruction in assigned areas of programming.
Specific Functions:
- Assist all clients as needed in order to promote community based services and full community inclusion. This includes planning community based assessment, training, and activities that are appropriate for each individual.
- Provide orientation, training and staff development to assigned staff. Contribute to staff performance appraisals as scheduled. Ride bus or van periodically as requested to supervise monitors or as needed due to client behavior / staff absence.
- Assist in developing and implementing the individual training plan, and if applicable, the behavior management plan. Provide weekly progress notes and other documentation for each client as assigned.
- Assist with program development and curriculum enhancement activities. As requested, assist with the organization of the centralized case records.
- Collect program data as required for client progress tracking and outcome measurement purposes.
- Teach programs and complete assessments as needed.
- Ensure the maintenance of appropriate standards for the program. Provide a safe and age appropriate environment in all training areas.
- Maintain daily attendance records.
- Additional related duties as assigned.
- Maintain ongoing compliance with all agency-related training and certification requirements.
- Respond per established procedures to all emergency situations including medical, behavioral, fire, severe weather, and other hazards.
- Operate agency or personal vehicle in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Own, maintain, and use personal smartphone for company business in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: B.A. in Special Education, Psychology or related field preferred. High School diploma or equivalent and 3 years related experience will be considered. Driving record in accordance with agency policy. A post offer physical and criminal background check required. Reliable transportation required. EOE.
