Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our operations comply with all relevant regulations and standards, particularly those set forth by the FDA. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity of our processes and products, especially in areas related to clinical trials, quality assurance, and chemistry manufacturing controls. The Compliance Officer will play a key role in fostering a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs that adhere to FDA regulations and other applicable standards.
- Conduct thorough research to stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices.
- Oversee project management initiatives related to compliance activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality assurance processes are effectively integrated into all operations.
- Monitor clinical trials for compliance with regulatory requirements, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Prepare and present compliance reports to management, highlighting key findings and recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Provide training and support to staff on compliance-related issues, fostering a culture of accountability.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as life sciences, regulatory affairs, or business administration.
- Proven experience in compliance management within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries is preferred.
- Strong understanding of FDA regulations and their application in clinical trials and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent research skills with the ability to analyze complex information effectively.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead initiatives from conception through execution.
- Familiarity with quality assurance principles and practices is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences.
