Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing and the ability to work collaboratively on various construction projects. This role involves preparing and finishing concrete surfaces, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for concrete pouring by cleaning and leveling the area.
- Pour, spread, and finish concrete using tools such as trowels, floats, and screeds.
- Ensure that concrete is mixed to the correct consistency and quality.
- Apply sealants and curing compounds to finished surfaces.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and laborers, to complete projects efficiently.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during the preparation and finishing process.
- Assist in framing carpentry tasks as needed.
- Restore and repair existing concrete surfaces, including stucco applications.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge for equipment operation related to concrete pumping.
Skills
- Proficiency in heavy lifting techniques and physical stamina for demanding tasks.
- Experience with frame carpentry and general carpentry skills.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes.
- Knowledge of tile laying techniques is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment operation.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately for project execution.
- Experience with concrete pumping systems is beneficial.
- Attention to detail in finishing work to ensure high-quality results.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.23 - $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
