Bonitz of Georgia is hiring a Lightweight Insulated Concrete Batch Plant Operator. You will be operating a deck mate pump and leading the ground team for our Roof Deck division. A successful pump operator will monitor equipment operations and communicate closely with the Team. In addition to running the equipment, light mechanical duties are required, as well as set-up, tear down and cleaning of all equipment. We’ll teach you to know the pump well enough to recognize problems and report them. The company provides ample opportunity for advancement. We love to promote from within. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Properly mix lightweight insulating concrete roof deck systems
Prep the equipment site to keep the area clean during pumping process
Set-up the pump, bulker, and other equipment
Monitor flow of concrete while equipment is in use
Repair malfunctioning equipment in a timely manner
Recognize and report any unsafe jobsite condition
Communicate clearly with ground and roof team members
Daily use of two-way radios for team communication
Perform daily preventative maintenance checks
Complete and submit equipment inspection and maintenance forms daily
Comply with all company policies and procedures
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Overtime as required
Communication skills
Travel to various job sites in the southeast, 75% weekday overnight travel
Must be able to lift, push, or pull heavy equipment (75+ pounds)
Ability to work at heights as well as access heights from a ladder
Employees may be required to perform any other job-related tasks as requested by the Foreman
Must enjoy working outside in all weather conditions
Ability to work occasional weekend day(s)
90-day probationary period

Normal vision and hearing
Clean driving record (no DUI’s or super speed tickets in the last 5 years)
Mechanically inclined
Willingness to learn the operation and maintenance of equipment
