Construction Assistant Project Manager
Location: Marietta GA
Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 (Based on education & experience)

Engineering Design Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Construction Assistant Project Manager to join our team. As a leading engineering and design firm, we specialize in providing innovative and sustainable solutions for our clients. This role supports project managers in overseeing construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing all phases of construction projects, including planning, design, procurement, and construction.
- Support developing and managing project budgets, schedules, and resources.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure success.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing project proposals, schedules, contracts, and change orders.
- Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring compliance with specifications, requirements, and timelines.
- Help identify and mitigate project risks, implementing proactive solutions.
- Provide support and guidance to project team members, assisting in daily coordination and problem-solving.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Daily management of project controls processes (RFI’s, Submittals, Cost Control Logs and Reporting)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction project management or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry best practices.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Proficiency in construction management software and project tracking tools.(P6, ACC, MS Applications, MS Project, Procore)
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Compensation
$75,000 - $100,000 (Based on education & experience)
