Construction Project Manager
Location: Marietta GA
Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 (Based on education & experience)
Summary
Engineering Design Technologies, Inc., is currently seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a leading engineering and design firm, EDT specializes in providing innovative and sustainable solutions for our clients. In this role, you will manage all aspects of construction projects, from initiation to completion. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong leadership and communication skills who is committed to delivering high-quality construction projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, design, procurement, and construction
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure project success
- Manage the preparation of project proposals, contracts, and change management
- Manage reporting on project progress, ensuring compliance with project specifications and requirements
- Manage project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
- Supervise and mentor project team members, providing guidance and support as needed
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, and materials
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects
- Proficient with cost and quantity estimating, analysis and cost controls
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools. (P6, MS Office Applications, ACC, Procore, MS Project)
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- LEED or Green Globes experienced preferred not required
- Understanding of project control process and procedures (RFI’s, Submittals, closeout, etc.)
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Valid driver's license
