Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, project scheduling, and team leadership. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
- Utilize project management software such as Prolog, ProCore, or Primavera for tracking progress and reporting.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise on the construction site.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using tools like Civil 3D and HeavyBid.
- Review blueprints and technical drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Facilitate communication among team members and stakeholders to promote collaboration and resolve conflicts.
- Prepare progress reports for stakeholders detailing project status, challenges, and solutions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management or project management within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in project management software including HeavyBid, Prolog, ProCore, or Primavera is preferred.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and construction site operations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with project scheduling techniques is essential.
