This person will execute and supervise the construction process for the assigned homes ensuring all specifications are completed for home buyer closing. They will oversees the schedule and direction of Trades ensuring quality standards, adherence to building codes and health & safety requirements are met.
This role is located at our Kings View Project in Shelby, NC.
What We Are Looking For:
- 3+ years of home building experience
- Knowledge of the Building Code requirements; Health & Safety Regulations
- Knowledge of the North Carolina Building Code and OSHA regulations.
- Need to have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Strong customer services skills, problem solving and organizational time management skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; demonstrated ability to collaborate and manage relationships.
- Experience of working with BuildPro (or similar), MS Office and common software.

- Monitors construction process from start to finish, including reasonable construction budget control, code compliance, and providing technical guidance as needed to Trade and Sub-contractors
- Conducts regular site inspections and reports as well as resolves any code violations, Trade deficiencies, material delays, safety breaches and other associated construction process
- Executes full completion of the assigned home prior to the closing date 100% of the time, conducts New Home Orientation walk-through with home buyer, and oversees addressing all relevant “blue tape” punch list items.
- Oversees warranty work by Trades or Subcontractors, makes minor warranty repairs when justified.
