Responsibilities
- Maintain and review efficient and accurate inventory management procedures, consistent with company policy and procedure
- Provide accurate and timely order entry for operations
- Safeguard inventory assets to facilitate shortage detection
- Initiate and maintain an efficient cycle count strategy
- Maintain accurate records of all audits, counts, and adjustments
- Make system adjustments as required and analyze results of counts to initiate permanent corrective actions
- Follow client’s disposition of damaged and/or expired product, including shipment for destruction
- Provide timely and accurate responses to internal and external clients
- Review and analyze weekly inventory report to determine error causes; initiate corrective action
- Support product recall return process through physical identification and segregation of product
- Responsible for running of reports, reconciliation of final count variances, and all other reconciliation activities
- Support Physical Inventory Programs
- Provide daily movement files for internal and external clients
- Provide paperwork sent from operations to internal and external clients in a timely manner
- Assisting in warehouse setups
- Maintaining system access
- Conducting internal and external meetings
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Job Specifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Business or other related fields is desired
- 2-5 years healthcare warehouse experience in receiving, storing, issuing, and accounting for property in a warehouse desired
- Excellent computer skills
- Good mathematical ability, excellent organizational and communication skills, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with self-motivation and initiative
- Excellent reading and writing ability
Technical Expertise
- Deftly navigate through ERP system – Tecsys Elite, Cognos
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills: Outlook, Excel (including Statistics and Pivot Tables), Access, PowerPoint, Word
- Experience with warehouse or supply chain environments
- Understanding of supply chain transportation
- Ability to conduct/track analytics related to Client performance
- Intermediate public speaking and presentation skills
- Professional phone etiquette
Additional Employment Requirements
- Must be able to successfully pass all preliminary employment requirements (i.e., background check and drug screen)
- Adhere to dress code guidelines
Physical/Mental/Visual Demands
- Work is light to medium in nature with frequent walking to perform assigned tasks
- Must be able to communicate clearly
- Must be able to read at a distance close to the eyes and at arm’s length, with or without correction
Working Conditions
- Activities occur within a typical office environment
- Hazardous conditions may exist, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current and working in high places
- Must be available to work on call hours to meet the needs of the company
Equipment Operated
- Equipment: Laptop computer, cell phone, fax machine, copier, and desk phone
- Systems: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Tecsys Elite (Warehouse Management System)
