Job Overview:
The OR Logistics Manager will facilitate operating room throughput, collaborating with the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care teams. The OR Logistics Manager will collaborate with the team to develop and implement operational efficiencies in the OR and improve key performance metrics including but not limited to: on time starts, room turnaround times, implant delivery, and equipment maintenance and utilization. In this role, the OR Logistics Manager will be responsible for day-to-day management of the OR Case Cart Coordinators, OR Support Assistants and Equipment Technicians. The OR Logistics Manager will lead coordination of resources at the OR Charge desk and work closely with the Service Line Directors to manage work flow to improve efficiency. The OR Logistics Manager will be a liaison between the Operating Room and Sterile Processing by providing technical assistance.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited surgical tech program; surgical tech certification required
- A minimum of 3 years of clinical operating room experience at CBMC required
- Surgical Tech certification - NBSTA
Preferred:
- Five years of operating room experience preferred
