Are you passionate about helping students, faculty, staff, and community members connect with campus recreation? The University of Florida Department of Recreational Sports is seeking a Coordinator for Member Services to lead our front-line student team and deliver exceptional service to the Gator Nation at our recreational facilities.
In this role, you will:
- Hire, train, supervise, and mentor a team of 20–30 student employees to provide high-quality RecSports information and services.
- Serve as a front-line leader, ensuring our staff uphold all policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Oversee daily Member Services operations including Fusion software functions (access, security, spectator passes, and reporting).
- Collaborate across the department and campus to promote RecSports programs and enhance membership services.
- Support budget management, payroll, outreach efforts, and risk management practices to keep our operations smooth and sustainable.
This position reports to the Assistant Director for Member Services and plays a key role in shaping the member experience at RecSports facilities.
$45,000 - $50,000
Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Familiarity with Fusion Recreation Management Software, or willingness to learn.
Valid driver's license required.
- Master’s degree plus two years of experience in membership sales and service, preferably in recreation or fitness.
- Familiarity with Fusion Recreation Management Software, or willingness to learn.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience and strong organizational skills.
- A team-focused, adaptable, and customer-oriented mindset.
- Valid driver’s license required.
