Nino Development is partnering with a highly respected commercial roofing contractor based in Clinton, Maryland, to identify a skilled and driven Commercial Roofing Estimator with Sales experience. This is an exciting opportunity for a roofing professional who combines technical estimating knowledge with strong client communication and project coordination skills.
This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and can confidently manage multiple estimates while delivering accurate pricing and scopes to clients. Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for commercial roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, and Built-Up roofs
- Manage 3 to 6 active estimates at any given time, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Conduct site visits to gather project data, take measurements, and assess roof conditions
- Collaborate with clients, general contractors, and internal teams to develop clear, competitive proposals
- Provide seamless project handoff to production teams with clear documentation and expectations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of material pricing, manufacturer specs, and industry standards
- Follow up on bids, track proposal status, and work to convert opportunities into signed contracts
- Participate in bid strategy meetings and continuously improve estimating tools and processes
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in commercial roofing estimating (low-slope systems required)
- Solid understanding of roofing systems such as TPO, EPDM, Built-Up, and Modified Bitumen
- Proficiency with digital takeoffs, estimating software, and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Highly self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented and responsive, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently and take full ownership of estimates and client communication
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with shifting priorities
