We seek a dedicated and driven Coffee Shop Manager to lead daily operations at our courthouse location. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership abilities, a passion for customer service, and a desire to elevate our product quality, team performance, and brand presence within the El Paso and courthouse community.
As the manager, you will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, fostering a positive and productive team environment, and continuously seeking ways to improve our offerings and guest experience. Your initiative, attention to detail, and commitment to high standards will directly contribute to the continued success of our company.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing duties
- Lead, coach, and schedule a team of baristas
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality beverages and food items
- Uphold cleanliness, health code compliance, and brand presentation standards
- Manage inventory and ordering to maintain adequate stock and reduce waste
- Communicate with owners and supervisors to relay operational needs and updates
- Train new staff on espresso techniques, workflow, and customer service
- Address customer concerns promptly and professionally
- Suggest and implement improvements to streamline service and enhance guest experience
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of coffee shop management experience required
- Must have hands-on experience operating semi-automatic or manual espresso machines (e.g., La Marzocco, Nuova Simonelli, Breville, etc.); experience limited to fully-automatic systems (e.g., Starbucks-style machines) does not meet qualifications
- Strong understanding of specialty coffee preparation, milk steaming, espresso dialing-in, and workflow optimization
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for hospitality, coffee culture, and team development
- Basic knowledge of food safety and cleanliness standards
- Must be available during operating hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
