Business Administrator
We are seeking a dedicated, professional, and detail-oriented Credentialing Committee Coordinator who will play an essential role in supporting the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) Provider Credentialing Committee by ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient meeting operations.
Responsibilities:
Meeting SLAs Compliance:
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas
- Ensure complete credentialing packets are uploaded prior to meetings
- Take detailed and accurate meeting minutes
- Track and confirm committee attendance
- Documentation & Organization:
- Maintain organized records for all Credentialing Committee meetings
- Support audit-readiness and compliance documentation needs
- Translating complex meeting discussions into clear, concise, and structured minutes
- Collaboration:
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and committee members to support efficient meeting execution
- Partner closely with the Medical Director to coordinate and host Credentialing Committee meetings
- Anticipate needs and provide proactive administrative support before, during, and after meetings
- Ensure meeting logistics, materials, and documentation are ready and accessible
Qualifications:
- An associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Business, or a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in credentialing, medical staff services, or administrative support
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards and credentialing processes
- Experience working with committees, regulatory audits, or cross-functional teams is highly desirable
Key Skill:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- High attention to detail, especially in document preparation and compliance tracking
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams) and document management tools
- Experience coordinating meetings or in administrative support roles
- Familiarity with credentialing practices and compliance standards is a plus
- Proven attention to detail and commitment to service-level excellence
