About The RoleAs a result of continued business growth, the position of Credit Officer has become available within our high-performing Accounts Receivable function. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for managing a segment of the customer ledger in support of our expanding global business. We're looking for a driven Credit Officer who is eager to take ownership of their customer portfolio, build strong relationships, resolve issues promptly, and deliver exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders. You will play a key role in ensuring that queries are addressed efficiently and professionally, within minimal timeframes.
Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Team Lead in Australia, you will be part of a collaborative team of Global Credit Officers supported by an experienced leader. This is a remote position based in Texas or within a PST/CST timezone, and you must be comfortable working independently in a virtual environment. The role requires relevant collections and receivables experience and a commitment to improving the current accounts receivable framework. Success in this role will depend on your ability to communicate clearly and work cross-functionally with internal teams and external customers. What You'll Be Doing
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and follow up on overdue balances.
- Investigate and resolve billing queries in collaboration with internal teams and customers.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy across receivables.
- Apply and contribute to the improvement of existing collection processes.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Finance, Customer Support, and Sales.
- Assist with daily operations including bank receipting, bill runs, and general finance tasks.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5+ years of experience in credit, collections, or accounts receivable
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to resolve issues and maintain accurate records
- ERP experience; Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus
- Comfortable working across time zones with global teams
- Experience working in a multi-currency environment preferred
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
