CSR - Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher

Our ideal candidate should be intimately familiar with all cities North of the 10 FWY, South of Santa Clarita, from Pasadena to Calabasas, and everything in-between. Los Angeles Carpet Cleaning is a growing company located in Van Nuys. We are in search of a dispatcher/customer service representative who has ideally worked for a local residential service based company (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.). The ideal candidate will know their nearby cities and be able to explain our process confidently via inbound phone calls from customers while routing the service calls to our technicians. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, is organized, flexible and adaptable.

Required skills

Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)

Customer service (incoming phones)

Communication (via email/phone)

Ability to type quickly (35 wpm+)

Key Responsibilities

· Check field technician forms for completeness and accuracy.

· Respond to estimate inquiries by telephone, email, and messaging.

· Friendly and positive attitude while answering estimate request inquiries via phone with customers; ability to explain our process effectively.

· Communicate with customers by phone on behalf of the technician upon their arrival and follow-up once the job has been completed.

· Maintains files, records, procedures, policies, and other information.

· Verify employee time reports, maintain basic bookkeeping and payroll records.

· Data Entry and processing using CRM

· Orders parts, supplies and equipment as needed.

· Computer savvy with entering and maintaining online marketing & presence (blogs).

· Other duties as assigned/required for changing business needs

Education/Experience:

• Phone sales experience is preferred.
• 2 years of college is preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 2 plus years of experience in a Service based company is preferred.
• 2 years of experience as a dispatcher or inbound customer service rep.
