POSITION SUMMARY
The CTE Registration Clerk works closely with the Assistant Registrar for Student Planning to locate students in career and technical education programs and to ensure they are on track to complete the courses require to graduate. Primary responsibilities include streamlining the registration process after Academic Coaches have built CTE student course maps, registration of CTE students in their assigned programs, and identifying CTE students ready for graduation. CTE Registration Clerks will ensure the proper program is listed in Degree Works and update course maps as student CTE degree/certificate programs are updated. Registration Clerks will regularly analyze CTE student registration history and ensure courses registered align with student's declared CTE curriculum. Experience with Banner, Navigate, Excel, Database systems, extracting data and analyzing data. CTE Registration Clerks will be expected to meet specific deadlines and quotas related to students in their caseload.
Partial remote opportunities may become available after training.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Build registration plans for CTE students in assigned caseload by departmental and registration deadlines
  • Works with CTE students in caseload to adjust registration plans as needed
  • Work with CRM manager to push out communication plans to CTE students who are in their pathways regarding registration, high demand courses, etc
  • Communicates with supervisors to recommend additional course sections, observed registration patterns, and future course needs
  • Work closely with Graduation Processor to identify CTE students nearing graduation to ensure appropriate final semester registration and that graduation applications are processed/submitted
  • Update CTE curriculum as needed (e.g. adding 2nd program)
  • Works to ensure CTE students have authorized COF and identifies COF errors to sure student access to the Colorado Opportunity Fund stipend
  • Cover Breaks/lunches for front staff and coverage when front staff is out
  • Back-up for phones


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Associate degree or two years working in education, project management, or with databases.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and demonstrated commitment to creating an inclusive work environment.
  • Basic knowledge of FERPA and federal and state statutes impacting college admissions, recruiting, registration, and records retention.
  • Strong collaboration, problem-solving, interpersonal, oral and written communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Detail oriented, organized and able to work effectively and independently on a tight deadline.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Knowledge of FERPA and federal and state statutes impacting college admissions, recruiting, registration, and records retention
  • Experience collaborating with faculty and other Instructional professionals
  • Knowledge of federal/state legislation, and CCCS policies and procedures related to college admission and tuition classification
  • Experience with the Banner student information system
  • Experience with EAB Navigate
  • Self-starter and manage tasks remotely.
  • Require minimal supervision to complete daily tasks.





SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION

Salary Range: Anticipated starting salary range is $51,732.85 annually. This salary is determined by the qualifications of the selected candidate balanced with departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information. CCA offers an excellent benefit plan, including generous leave, holiday, and education benefits. Full time employees immediately upon hire earn 15 hours a month annual leave and 10 hours a month sick leave.
