We are looking for a Customer Analyst and Advisor. The Customer Advisor provides mid-level support to member companies and stakeholders by managing client relationships and addressing inquiries. Drawing on a broad understanding of the energy industry, this role responds to customer questions using various research tools and internal resources. Responsibilities include conducting account analysis by examining call trends and patterns, and serving as the primary contact for urgent or quick-turnaround member requests.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handles customer requests and issues via phone and email, ensuring prompt and complete resolution
- Analyzes large datasets to uncover trends and insights
- Utilizes strong research skills, including both primary and secondary methods
- Maintains accurate tracking of all inquiries to ensure consistency in responses
- Suggests updates to frequently asked questions for inclusion in a shared knowledge base
- Serves as the go-to resource for addressing short-term or quick-response requests
- Keeps customer needs at the forefront, using feedback to refine services and strengthen client relationships
- Communicates effectively with representatives from member companies on a range of topics, ensuring overall customer satisfaction
- Applies a strong understanding of the organization's mission, values, structure, processes, markets, and offerings, along with a working knowledge of the U.S. energy sector
- Prioritizes effectively, focusing on what matters most and working efficiently across a broad range of tasks
- Manages multiple priorities, projects, and tasks simultaneously, making effective use of time and sound judgment
- Adapts well to changing circumstances and shifting priorities
- Works collaboratively with people at all organizational levels, fostering productive relationships across teams and reporting lines

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree (preferred), or high school diploma with a minimum of five years of relevant experience, or associate degree with at least two years in a customer-facing or client support role
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality work with strong attention to detail
- Clear communication skills and strong problem-solving ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- SQL and Python is preferred
- MS Access and Salesforce experience is a plus
- Demonstrates initiative and a desire for continuous growth in responsibility and expertise
- Confident and polished in delivering presentations
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
Preferred
- Degree in business, marketing, finance, data analytics, mathematics, or engineering
- Experience or interest in marketing, analytics, client support, or financial services
- Strong interest in the energy sector
