REMOTE WITH TRAVEL TO CUSTOMERS WITHIN SURROUNDING AREAS/ STATES OF PHOENIX, AZ
The Customer Service Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the reliability and performance of LayerZero’s Power Systems, Inc . This position involves hands-on service, technical support, and customer interaction, both on-site and remotely. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical troubleshooting skills, a commitment to safety, and a customer-first mindset.
Requirements
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Perform startup, commissioning, service, and preventive maintenance on LayerZero equipment:
o Static transfer switches
o Power distribution equipment
o Remote power panels
· Provide customer support while on site and via email and phone
· Maintain timely and detailed service records in the LayerZero system
· Provide emergency responses for critical incidents
· Regularly scheduled time slots for 1-844-855-5977 LayerZero 24/7 incident response
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & EDUCATION:
· Service experience with electric power systems – Required.
· Electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills – Required.
· Ability to read diagrams and schematics – Required.
· Familiarity with programming printed circuit boards via PC based programs – Required.
· Safety awareness and electrical PPE knowledge – Required.
· Associate degree in electrical field – Preferred.
· Electronics or electrical training from military service – Preferred.
· Clean driving record – Required.
· US Citizenship or C1 Permanent Resident Alien status - Required.
WORK LOCATION:
· Training to be conducted at LayerZero Headquarters in Aurora, Ohio.
· Field service work is performed at customer sites through the US and Canada. Travel is required.
· At times, weekend or possibly holiday work will be required.
