Customer Service Representative

About the Role:
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support our sales and shipping teams. In this role, you will be the main point of contact for customers, brokers, and salespeople—ensuring a smooth ordering process and resolving issues quickly and professionally. This is a full-time role based in New York City.
What You'll Do:
- Receive and process customer orders via email and electronic systems (EDI)
- Communicate with buyers, brokers, and sales teams to confirm order details
- Resolve product and delivery issues in a timely, professional manner
- Provide accurate information about products, pricing, and order status
- Send out order confirmations, exception reports, and invoices
- Handle customer questions and concerns with a service-first mindset
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure on-time deliveries
- Assist with daily reports and updates for the customer service team
