Job Summary
Responsible for all customer warranty communications (email/phone) and coordination of the warranty department including data entry of customer repair orders and efficient scheduling and routing of technicians. Responsible for accurate, efficient and regular retrieval of processed work orders. Must maintain constant contact with all departments involved in customer issues. Must regularly process completed warranty claims. Assists with troubleshooting of related issues; as well as, administrative and customer service activities.
Essential Functions
- Taking warranty related calls and reviewing customer emails in a timely and professional manner with emphasis on accurate communications and documentation.
- Troubleshoot various related issues and provide detailed/necessary information for Service Technician repairs.
- Responsible for the creation of all customer service work orders, assigning per situation, communicating information to delegated department(s), and performing all follow through in regards to any open work orders.
- Work closely with Service Technicians, Purchasing, and Construction to ensure timely and comprehensive follow-up to homeowners’ expectations and concerns.
- Processing and timely submittal of warranty work orders and claims as needed.
- Other projects and responsibilities may be added at management’s discretion.
- Job requires prolonged periods of sitting.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma at minimum
- Preferred Education: 2-year or 4-year college degree
- Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates): Certifications must be obtained within 90 days of employment
- Knowledge Requirements: Excellent oral and written communication skills. MS Office and Computer literate, especially Excel and Word
- Minimum experience required: 1-year customer service and sales support, data entry, preferably in the construction, pool and building materials industry (at least 2 years’ experience with a High School Diploma)
- Preferred experience: 2-years customer service role in a high call volume and email environment, proven track record for accomplishing tasks on schedule, and being able to multitask
Special Information
(Travel required, physical requirements, on-call schedules, and so on):
- Must be able to work 8:00 am to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday
- Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds
- Job requires frequent sitting indoors
- Some outdoor work requiring standing, walking up/down steps, lifting light items in warehouse

Pay: $23.00 per hour
