About the Job:
The position of Customer Service Representative is directly responsible for performing service functions as outlined below for customers, carriers, drivers and employees of the warehouse facility in a professional and timely fashion.
In This Role, You Will:
- Ensure safe working conditions in office and adherence to OSHA regulations
- Ensure work space and office conditions maintain clean, professional appearance.
- Maintain databases to ensure accurate customer, vendor information is entered and current
- Build computerized distribution lists
- Create customer inventory activity reports
- Create and distribute daily warehouse reports of material to ship.
- Receive products into inventory; monitor inventory, report inventory levels to customers.
- Assess customer needs, answer incoming calls and address complaints
- Schedule all inbound and outbound truck and rail activities within the system(s).
- Schedule and confirm appointments as needed.
- Verify and confirm pick up and/or delivery of customer product.
- Dispatch orders, provide paperwork and instructions to drivers, and vendors
- Customer invoicing
- EDI/ ASN transmissions and tracking.
- Coordinate and communicate with warehouse employees, other departments and divisions.
- Record incidents, accidents, service failures, claims.
- Participate in cross training and continuing education functions as needed to stay informed with company and industry trends, or as requested by management.
- Participate in meetings and on committees as requested
- ALL OTHER DUTIES AND PROJECTS AS ASSIGNED.

Desired:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Associate Degree in related field is preferred.
- One year work history in similar role and environment is preferred.
- Must be literate in Microsoft Office software programs and be able to type a minimum of 35 works per minute.
This is an onsite role based in Cleveland, OH.
