Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing a positive customer experience in a prompt and professional manner related to the customers’ needs and questions regarding television, internet and telephone services.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Interact with customers via telephone to answer customer inquiries and solve problems regarding services and products.
· Troubleshoot basic service issues and schedule on site service calls when necessary.
· Demonstrate courtesy and patience in customer relations, maintaining the ability to explain all products and services offered at the current time.
· Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
· Adept at handling customer complaints.
· Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
· Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software.
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree a plus.
· At least one year of customer service experience required.
Work Environment:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Must be able to work Tuesday through Saturday.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
