This position requires a strong commitment to student success and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You may also represent the institution at events, such as college fairs, high school visits, and in maintaining relationships with high school counselors and community organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist prospective students with the admissions process.
- Conduct informational sessions and tours for prospective students and families.
- Represent the institution at college fairs, high school visits, and other events.
- Develop and maintain relationships with high school counselors and community organizations.
- Evaluate applications for admission and make admissions decisions in accordance with institutional policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to prospective students, families, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments, to ensure a seamless enrollment process for students.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions with prospective students.
- Prrovide regular reports to the Director and other Supervisory staff.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in admissions, student recruitment, or related field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Ability to travel locally and work evenings as needed.
Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment drug and background screening.
