Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cutting Machine Operator to join our team at Synergy Design LLC. This position is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of our fabric cutting machines and contributing to the overall production process. Located in the United States, this role plays a vital part in maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain Atom Flash cutter machines efficiently to meet production goals.
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Ensure quality control by inspecting finished products for defects and adherence to specifications.
- Utilize measuring tools such as tape measures to ensure precision in production.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and production processes.
- Adhere to safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a machine operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and practices.
- Ability to read production orders.
- Basic knowledge of a CNC type fabric cutting machine and/or software (Interactive Layout, Layout Editor) is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to lift / move rolls of fabric as needed (ave. roll weight 30-40 lbs).
