Job Title: Cyber Security Analyst
Location: Virtual
Our team is currently hiring a Cyber Security Analyst for the VA Consolidated Corporate Support Services program
to support multiple ATOs for both steady state and enhancement contracts.
This position will be full-time and fully remote.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) status for assigned applications, including documentation updates and vulnerability scans.
- Participate in ATO audits and manage Plan of Action and Milestones (POAMs).
- Collaborate with intrusion analysts to identify, report, and support remediation of cyber threats.
- Provide timely, actionable, and sanitized cyber threat intelligence to incident response teams.
- Conduct cyber threat assessments based on geographic, organizational, or actor-specific intelligence.
- Analyze intrusion signatures, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to assess potential threats.
- Research and report on hacker techniques, vulnerabilities, and exploits.
- Stay current on tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in cybersecurity and encryption.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's with 2-4 years (or commensurate experience)
- Experience working in eMASS
- Experience with ATO requirements and documentation
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience working on a team towards a common goal
- Strong problem solving skills
- Competence in Microsoft Suite
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to step in, where needed
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience working in an IT environment
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Experience with ATO Audits
