Cimarron is seeking a Security/Facilities Operations Administrator to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Space Force Base in the Colorado Springs area.
Key Duties:
- Demonstrate a repeatable cycle of security system auditing and investigation of anomalous activity.
- Maintain and manage open storage certification requirements, and provide guidance to occupants on security classification requirements. Receive, generate, and reproduce classified material up to the SECRET classification.
- Perform duties as the Security Assistant as defined in the Quad 2400 Security Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
- Coordinate with MDA Security Department (MDA/EIR) personnel on all physical and information security issues and tasks.
- Develop, maintain, and train SOP documentation in accordance with MDA/EIR procedures.
- Perform block captain activities in accordance with the latest Government SOP.
- Manage safes, including conducting inventories and maintaining safe combinations.
- Conduct physical security and export control activities.
- Coordinate with IRES Task Orders, vendors, and government customers to facilitate access control to the M&S Center footprint for personnel without permanent access.
- Schedule and publish conference and Video Teleconference (VTC) room reservations.
- Set up classified and unclassified VTCs as needed.
- Report printer issues to the MDIOC Service Desk and support paper and toner replacement.
- Ensure proper classified document storage and disposal procedures are followed.
- Track and report cubicle seating assignments for change management purposes.
- Perform other duties as required.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at the time.
- This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire. - Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.
- Active Secret Clearance (or higher).
- Strong aptitude for customer service.
- 4 or more years of general, full-time work experience (or equivalent education).
- 1 or more years of administrative experience.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, including proficiency in Outlook.
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Experience with U.S. Government classified and derivative classified information marking, handling, storage, and disposal.
- Experience in onboarding new employees.
- Background in physical and personnel security.
- Familiarity with office administration and office security practices.
- Administrative experience supporting Department of Defense contracts.
- Experience using JPAS (Joint Personnel Adjudication System).
