Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Daycare professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of early childhood development. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children ranging from infants to preschool age. The Daycare professional will play a key role in fostering the growth and development of each child in our care.
Duties
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
- Provide care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Monitor children's behavior and implement behavior management strategies as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating daycare environment.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the highest quality of care and education.
Experience
- Previous experience in early childhood education or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with toddler care, infant care, special education, and behavior management techniques is highly desirable.
- Experience working with students or knowledge of childhood development principles will be beneficial.
- A background in preschool settings is an asset but not mandatory.
- CDA preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
